Golf enthusiasts of Tobago’s culinary delights are gearing up for the highly anticipated ‘Taste of Tobago Golf Tournament,‘ slated to take place on March 23rd and 24th, 2024.

Embedded within the breathtaking scenery of the greens at The Magdalena Grand Beach & Golf Resort, this two-day golf tournament promises an unmatched experience with the fusion of sporting excellence and mouth – watering, gastronomic pleasures. Participants will have the unique opportunity to spend the day showcasing their golfing prowess and enjoy the evening indulging in the island’s culinary heritage.

The tournament will feature a series of challenging rounds across the lush greens, culminating in an awards ceremony honoring the top performers. Participants can also relish the ‘Taste of Tobago’ culinary showcase, featuring an array of authentic local cuisines and flavors, creating an immersive experience that encapsulates the island’s culture.

Amidst the competitive swings and putts, attendees can savor Tobago’s diverse culinary heritage, from savory delights to exotic,signature cocktails and beverages prepared by current Culinary Arts as well as Food & Beverage students under the guidance of their experienced lecturers. Participants and guests will be guided through the evening by our Hospitality and Tourism Studies students as they seize this opportunity to practice their skills acquired through their tutelage at the institute.

ABOUT THTI

The Tobago Hospitality and Tourism Institute (THTI) is Tobago’s premier tertiary education institution that develops human capital for the hospitality, tourism and related sectors of the economy. THTI was founded in 1997 to address the need for trained professionals to compete in a globally competitive market, alongside other Caribbean islands.
