Success of the Accelerate Your Ambition Training Programme at THTI

The Tobago Hospitality and Tourism Institute (THTI) proudly celebrates the successful completion of the inaugural cycle of the Accelerate Your Ambition Training Programme (A.Y.A). This initiative was designed to empower unemployed individuals across Tobago by equipping them with valuable skills in the hospitality and tourism industry.

Over the past week, 16 enthusiastic students immersed themselves in comprehensive training, with specialized focus areas in Food and Beverage, led by the esteemed Mrs. Shermane Rivers – Jospeh, and Mixology, under the expert guidance of Mr. Tavair James. These courses provided the students with hands-on experience and theoretical knowledge necessary to excel in the dynamic world of hospitality.

Tequila Sunrise

Green & Serene
Vodka, Amaretto, and Green Apple Sour

Strawberry Daiquiri
Strawberry Puree, Rum, Simple Syrup

Certificate Award Ceremony

The culmination of the programme was marked by a certificate award ceremony, where graduates proudly received their certificates of completion from Mr. Kirton Sorias. The highlight of the event was a showcase of their newfound mixology skills. Students wowed classmates and staff by crafting a signature cocktail aptly named “Green & Serene,” a testament to their creativity and expertise.
