Mandated to train professionals in the growing tourism and hospitality industries
2006Fully implemented CTLS
Caribbean Tourism Learning Systems (CTLS)
Enabled students to seamlessly transfer between tourism training organizations, and offered a wider range of employment opportunities.
2009ACTT Registered
Accreditation Council of Trinidad and Tobago
THTI became the first indigenous Tobago institution to be registered with the Accreditation Council of Trinidad and Tobago (ACTT).
2014 - 2019Institutional Accreditation
Institutional Accreditation
THTI awarded Institutional Accreditation and re-accredited in 2019 for an additional 5 years.
