Brewing Success: THTI Students Shine in Nestlé Young Baristas Training Programme

The Tobago Hospitality and Tourism Institute (THTI) is thrilled to announce the successful completion of the Nestlé Young Baristas Training Programme by our talented students. This programme, a part of Nestlé’s Global Youth Initiative, aims to empower young people worldwide by providing them with valuable skills and opportunities in various sectors, including employment, agripreneurship and entrepreneurship. 

Through the Young Baristas Training Programme, THTI students embarked on an immersive journey into the fascinating world of coffee. They delved deep into the rich history of coffee and its consumption, learning the intricate art and science behind crafting the perfect cup. From mastering the delicate balance of flavors to understanding the nuances of different brewing techniques, our students gained comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in barista training.

Upon completing the programme, our students are now equipped with the skills and confidence needed to excel in the field. They are excited to embark on their professional journeys, ready to seize job opportunities and make their mark in the vibrant coffee industry.
