On Monday 21st July 2025, our Culinary and Hospitality students had the opportunity to participate in Natural Treasures Day, a signature event on the Tobago Heritage Festival calendar, held in Charlotteville.
The day offered deep cultural immersion, hands-on learning, and unforgettable moments, including the honour of meeting and engaging with the Honourable Farley Chavez Augustine, Chief Secretary of the Tobago House of Assembly.
Students from Year 1 and Year 2 explored traditional Tobago practices and observed indigenous culinary techniques under the expert guidance of Lead Lecturer, Ms. Quashie-Muir, who ensured their experience was both educational and impactful.
