On July 23rd 2025, Mrs. Alana Holder-Findley, Chief Executive Officer (Ag.) of the Tobago Hospitality & Tourism Institute (THTI) met with Mrs. Dania Marcelle Ferguson, Chief Executive Officer (Ag.) of the Tobago Agribusiness Development Company (TADCO) and her team to explore the possibilities of a partnership aimed at integrating local, value-added products, like ‘cassava mash’ and traditional pone mix, into our culinary training components.
This initiative will not only enhance the hands-on experience for our students, but will also strengthen our shared commitment to food sustainability, agro-processing innovation, and the promotion of Tobago’s rich culinary heritage.
Together, we are creating meaningful opportunities for our students while supporting Tobago’s food economy, from farm to kitchen.
