THTI Announces 6th Annual Taste of Tobago Golf Classic

Blenheim, Mt. St. George, Tobago | October 16, 2024:

The Tobago Hospitality and Tourism Institute (THTI) is  thrilled to announce the 6th Annual “Taste of Tobago Golf Classic Tournament,” scheduled to take place on  April 12th and 13th, 2025. Hosted at the Magdalena Grand Beach & Golf Resort, this highly anticipated event brings together golf enthusiasts, culinary lovers, and the finest of Tobago’s sporting and gastronomic offerings.

Set against the backdrop of the island’s breathtaking landscape, this two-day golf classic promises an  exhilarating combination of challenging play on the resort’s picturesque greens, paired with the unique flavors  of Tobago’s celebrated culinary heritage. The tournament will feature multiple rounds of competitive golf,  leading to an exciting awards ceremony that honors outstanding performances on the course.

Beyond the sporting action, participants and guests will enjoy the ‘Taste of Tobago’ culinary showcase at the  welcoming ceremony, an exclusive gastronomic experience that celebrates the island’s rich culture and local  ingredients. Dishes and signature beverages will be prepared by current Culinary Arts and Food & Beverage  students, working under the guidance of their expert lecturers. Guests will also be warmly welcomed and  attended to by Hospitality and Tourism Studies students, who will use this event as a platform to practice their  industry skills.
