New Opportunities for THTI Students: Partnership with St. Thomas University

We are thrilled to announce an exciting new opportunity for students of the Tobago Hospitality and Tourism Institute (THTI). Following a recent Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing between THTI and St. Thomas University, students who have completed their associate degree at THTI can now seamlessly transition to further their education at St. Thomas University.

The MOU, signed on February 28th, marks a significant milestone for both institutions and underscores our commitment to providing students with pathways to success in the dynamic fields of hospitality and tourism. This collaboration comes after a delegation of 27 persons – 18 students, 3 parents, 3 lecturers, the Chairman, Dr. Shurla Waldron- Joseph of the THTI board, the Marketing Chair, Ms. Meisha Trim of the THTI board and the Secretary of Education, Assemblyman Zorisha Hackett visited St. Thomas University on February 21st, where discussions were held on enhancing educational opportunities for our students.

This partnership opens doors for THTI graduates to pursue bachelor’s degrees at St. Thomas University is a renowned institution known for its academic excellence and commitment to student success. By providing a seamless transition, students can build upon the strong foundation they’ve developed at THTI and continue their educational journey with confidence.

At THTI, we take pride in preparing our students for rewarding careers in the hospitality and tourism industry. Our comprehensive curriculum, experienced faculty, and hands-on learning approach ensure that graduates are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their chosen field.
