The highlight of the week was undoubtedly the “A Spice Trail Through India” student dinner. This culinary extravaganza showcased the vibrant flavors of Indian cuisine, prepared by THTI’s talented students. The event was further elevated by the presence of His Excellency, the High Commissioner of India in Trinidad and Tobago, Dr. Pradeep Singh Rajpurohit, who graced the occasion with his presence.

THTI played a pivotal role in the Lamb Festival, hosted by TADCO. The institute not only sponsored and judged the event but also showcased the versatility of lamb through mouthwatering dishes prepared by its students.
A Distinguished Visitor and Inspiration
The week concluded with a visit from Ms. Allison Matulli, a renowned legal scholar, children’s author, and education reform activist. A Fulbright Scholar awardee and founder of Little Lawyers, Ms. Matulli’s session with THTI’s Year 1 students sparked their interest in the world of law.
Chef Vergiss Lovelace Visited Scarborough Secondary School
Chef Vergiss Lovelace visited Scarborough Secondary School to conduct an interactive knife skills demonstration. This session aimed to inspire young minds and instill the importance of precision and technique in the culinary world.
