Spreading Awareness: World Diabetes Day

THTI played a significant role in raising awareness about diabetes. The institute hosted its annual World Diabetes Day Seminar and Luncheon, providing valuable information and resources on managing this chronic condition. We extend our gratitude to the sponsors and exhibitors who contributed to the event’s success.

A Spice Trail Through India

The highlight of the week was undoubtedly the “A Spice Trail Through India” student dinner. This culinary extravaganza showcased the vibrant flavors of Indian cuisine, prepared by THTI’s talented students. The event was further elevated by the presence of His Excellency, the High Commissioner of India in Trinidad and Tobago, Dr. Pradeep Singh Rajpurohit, who graced the occasion with his presence.

The culinary experience was recognized with a positive review from Jono Food Reviews, who praised the delicious meal prepared by THTI’s students!

Lamb Festival, hosted by TADCO

THTI played a pivotal role in the Lamb Festival, hosted by TADCO. The institute not only sponsored and judged the event but also showcased the versatility of lamb through mouthwatering dishes prepared by its students.

A Distinguished Visitor and Inspiration

The week concluded with a visit from Ms. Allison Matulli, a renowned legal scholar, children’s author, and education reform activist. A Fulbright Scholar awardee and founder of Little Lawyers, Ms. Matulli’s session with THTI’s Year 1 students sparked their interest in the world of law.
