A Vibrant Celebration: THTI Community Caravan Lights Up Plymouth, Bethesda

THTI Students outside the Bethesda Multipurpose Facility

The culturally rich town of Plymouth, Bethesda, was set ablaze with excitement on February 6th as the Tobago Hospitality and Tourism Institute (THTI) organized it’s first of many community caravans.

The event promised a fusion of live demonstrations, education, and engagement, and it certainly delivered.

One of the many highlights of the event was the active participation of the local community. Visitors had the chance to discover more about THTI through our interactive stalls, which offered information on our accredited associate degree programmes as well as our assortment of short courses.

The caravan procession was not only a celebration of the Tobago Hospitality and Tourism Institute but also a platform to showcase the talent and creativity of its people.

From cooking demonstrations, to mixology showcases, to dining and etiquette training and the various upcoming short courses, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

As the sun set over the tranquil shores of Plymouth, Bethesda, the echoes of laughter and music lingered in the air, a testament to the success of the Tobago Hospitality and Tourism Institute’s community caravan.

As we look towards the future, let us continue to embrace the spirit of collaboration and innovation, ensuring that Tobago remains a beacon of hospitality and tourism excellence for generations to come.

Stay abreast for the next upcoming community caravan on February 29th, 2024 where the Tobago Hospitality and Tourism Institute will be coming to a village near you!
