THTI & TTAL Launch Customer Service Training Programme

The Tobago Tourism Agency Limited (TTAL) in collaboration with the Tobago Hospitality and Tourism Institute (THTI) has launched the Tobago Industry Customer Service Training programme for Workshop Leaders. This ground-breaking initiative will serve as a platform for developing a culture of customer service excellence in Tobago.
The training of the Workshop Leaders is a significant milestone of the project as these local facilitators will be responsible for supporting individuals at all levels of organizations through workshops, coaching and self-help tools. Working closely with the award-winning Uplifting Service’s international team, THTI will immerse workshop leaders in the various components of the customer service model. The workshop leaders will develop a straightforward framework to increase effectiveness for all customer interactions and equip individuals with the skills needed to connect service excellence concepts to the execution of their daily duties, tasks, and responsibilities. Through a virtual platform, the workshop leaders will also receive coaching and ongoing mentorship from the Uplifting Service team.

Workshop leaders who successfully complete this training will receive a certificate of achievement from Uplifting Service and the Tobago Hospitality and Tourism Institute. The training of individuals in various organizations and establishments in Tobago will be rolled out in phases over the next 3 years, beginning in February 2022.
